Obrázky/Wall hangings

Měla jsem chuť vyměnit obrázky v pokojíku. Inspirací mi byla Ikea, ale vypadá to, že motýly poletí do koše. No naštěstí jsem nepředělala všech 8 obrázků, ale cvičně jen 3. Ani žádný exta materiál na to nepadl, takže dobrý. A proč? MiniMe se zkrátka nelíbí.

I wanted to try out this Ikea idea and I felt like the wall hangings in girls' room will be just right for it. Oh well, it seems that the butterflies will only fly to the trash bin. I have replaced only 3 out of total 8. No extra material involved so it's not so bad. Why? My girl doesn't like it and wants the birds back.

První obrázky vznikly jako recyklace obalu ve kterém byly čtyři dětské puzzle knížky. Obal byl tak veliký, že se nevešel do knihovny, ale bylo mi líto ho vyhodit.

These first wall hangings are kind of upcycling. Imagine huge box which is pretty but does not fit into any shelf. This box contained four puzzle books for kids. I cut out those animal images and used it this way.

Poté v šicí vlně přiletěly ptáčci. Pět nedodělaných obrázků mi ještě leží v šuplíku, ale nějak je ne a ne došít a tak jsem je chtěla rovnou nahradit motýlama což teda nakonec neklapne.

Than the birds flied around. Five of them still lying in the drawer. I was thinking that the butterflies will replace those UFOs but it doesn't seem to happen.

Tak ještě jedna rozlučková s motýlkama než udělají pápá :-) Mě se ten nápad moc líbí, ALE ...

So let's say good bye to those poor butterflies. I really like the idea, BUT ...
